Boat Trip from Kemer to Bays and Caves: Party Boat or a Quiet Cruise?

Updated October 22, 2026 · 6 min read

Large pirate-style wooden boat anchored in a turquoise bay below pine-covered hills

The short answer

The four boat trips below follow much the same route: Phaselis Bay, one or two swimming bays, lunch on board; two of the four also pass the Pirate Cave. What differs is the atmosphere on deck. Some boats are built around music and a foam party. One is a small-group cruise that is sold as the opposite. Pick by the mood you want, because the swimming stops are much the same.

For most visitors, especially families, the luxury all-inclusive party boat is the safest pick. If you want quiet, the small-group Phaselis cruise is the one to book.

What “caves” means here

The word is in the title of the cheapest tour, so be clear about it. The listings talk about the Pirate Cave in terms of passing it: “sail past” and “sightseeing” and “photo moments”. None of the four says guests go inside. The highlights of the cheapest one speak of discovering “the underwater world at the Pirate Cave” without saying whether that means entering it. The trips are about bays, swimming and lunch, with the cave as a scenic stop. If an explorable sea cave is your reason for booking, these boats are not the right tool.

The party boats

The €12 tour is the cheapest and also the lowest rated of the four, at 3.9 stars from 211 reviews. The listing describes a catamaran from Kemer Marina with Phaselis Bay, Paradise Bay, Moonlight Bay, lunch and a foam party. Lunch is included and drinks are sold on board. One rule matters: on Mondays and Thursdays, the operator accepts bookings only from couples and families, and solo male guests are not permitted. The listing also says that you are told a day ahead which of its three boats you will be on.

The €15 pirate boat runs for eight hours. It swims at Phaselis, a break at Beycik Bükü and Alacasu bay, with lunch at Phaselis. Reviews are decent at 4.2 stars from 108.

The €30 luxury party boat has by far the strongest record: 4.7 stars from 684 reviews. The listing includes unlimited soft drinks, a DJ, a foam party, an animation team and children’s activities, with alcohol sold on board. The listing gives a standard group of up to 100 people. The boat leaves port at 10 am, so hotel pickups happen earlier. The review summary on the booking page says travellers like the atmosphere and the food, while pickup timing and transfer coordination could be clearer.

One October reviewer on that boat found it only about a sixth full, and the foam dance lasted only about 20 minutes. The party is not constant, and out of season it is quieter.

The quiet option

The Relax Phaselis Bay cruise takes, by one reviewer’s count, about 30 guests, serves a BBQ lunch on board and stops at Phaselis Bay, Paradise Bay and Mehmet Ali Bükü. It passes the Pirate Cave and has no foam party. It costs €36.10, roughly three times the cheapest tour, and has 49 reviews, so the evidence is thinner.

Two caveats from the listing. It does not stop on the beach at Phaselis: swimmers can reach the shore, but there is an entrance fee for the ruins. And one reviewer who booked in English reported that the driver gave instructions only in Russian on arrival, which you should keep in mind if you rely on the transfer. Drinks are not included.

Who should avoid a boat trip

  • People prone to seasickness. The €12 listing and the small-group cruise both say so. The €12 operator argues that its large boats do not rock; that is the operator’s claim, not ours.
  • Non-swimmers. The small-group cruise lists them as not suitable.
  • Anyone who wants peace on a party boat. Music and animation run through the day.
  • Anyone short of time. All four take most of a day, and the pickup adds to it.

Our recommendation

For most people: the luxury party boat. It costs more than the two cheaper boats, but it has the highest rating of the four on by far the most reviews, and it covers drinks and children’s entertainment. For a calm day, choose the small-group Phaselis cruise. The €12 and €15 boats are fine if the price decides, with the Monday and Thursday rule in mind.
