Göynük Canyon from Kemer: Walk, Body Rafting or Zipline, and What You Pay On Top

Updated October 22, 2026 · 6 min read

The short answer

Göynük Canyon is a short half-day outing, not an expedition. You are driven from Kemer into a narrow canyon in the Beydağları Coastal National Park, walk along clear, cold water and then decide whether to add an activity such as body rafting, a zipline or a boat ride. Travel sites put the canyon at roughly 13 to 20 km from Kemer, depending on the source, and the listings below are 2 to 5 hours long including the transfer.

For most visitors the Göynük Canyon Visit Tour with Hotel Transfer is the one to book: from €3.99 per person, 4.5 stars from 89 reviews, the largest review record of the five.

Why €3.99 and €32 for what looks like the same trip

The listings do not explain the gap, and we will not guess. The cheapest four read very similarly: transfer, a guide, a host or free time in the canyon, and a menu of optional extras. The €3.99 listing says plainly that its price covers hotel transfer and host assistance only, and that activities are bought separately; the €24 listing lists body rafting, zipline and boat tour as not included, and the €32 one calls them paid extras. Only the €4.20 listing gives prices: body rafting and zipline are 25 USD per person each, and the canyon entrance is included. For the others, treat the cost of the activities as something to confirm.

The €32 tour has the highest rating, 4.8, but from 19 reviews; the €24 jeep version is the lowest at 3.6 from 9. Small review counts move quickly, so lean on the €3.99 tour’s 89 reviews when in doubt.

What the optional activities are

Across the listings, the same four options come up: body rafting (in the water, not in a boat), a zipline, a boat ride and, on the jeep version, a ride to the caves. The listings name them, and only the €4.20 one gives prices; none gives an age limit. Four of the five list people with mobility impairments as not suitable (we saw no list for the €3.99 tour), the €24 tour also lists non-swimmers, and the €4.20 one also lists pregnant women and wheelchair users. Body rafting means swimming through the inner canyon. Ask the guide on the day, and read the booking page for any exclusions before you pay for an activity you cannot do.

Entry to the national park is a second cost to check. Travel sites quote very different figures, roughly 5 to 14 US dollars, and none of them is official. The €4.20 and €24 listings include the canyon entrance; the €3.99 listing has its host help you buy the ticket. For the others, ask your operator whether entry is already in the price.

How much time you really get

Durations of 2 to 4 hours include the drive. The cheapest tour says you get about 3 hours of free time at the canyon, which is generous for a walk of this size. The two listings with a jeep transfer or several activities run longer, up to 5 hours. If you have a late flight or a lunch booking, ask for the hotel pickup time and the return time, not the headline duration.

What to bring and who it suits

The water is reported to be cold even in summer, so a swimsuit under your clothes and shoes that can get wet make the day easier. Sun hat, water and a towel are sensible. The canyon is a nature site with walkways and water, so it suits people who like to be outdoors and do not mind wet feet. It is a poor fit for anyone who needs step-free access: none of the listings says the route is accessible, and four of the five list people with mobility impairments as not suitable, so ask before you book.

If you want something calmer than a canyon, see our guide to the Turkish bath in Kemer. For a day with more adrenaline, the quad safari guide covers a quad ride near the same canyon, and all canyon and rafting tours are on one page.

Our recommendation

For most visitors: the Göynük Canyon Visit Tour with Hotel Transfer. It is among the cheapest and has by far the largest review record. Decide on the activities when you are there, once you have seen the water and the queue, and ask what each one costs before you say yes.
